About five days ago at its press conference in Palo Alto in California Facebook unveiled the new version of its Groups. Groups is a feature in this social media giant that allows the members to come together in activities such as document sharing, group chat, email lists and group photo tagging.

Built from scratch CEO and Founder Mark Zuckerberg says the product is completely new and only shares its name with the former Groups feature. The old groups will continue to remain while hence forth users will only be able to create the new version of the groups.
